Hello everyone and welcome to "Jack of Our Hearts".

This blog is for all our family and friends who are interested in Jack, his amazing story and his day-to-day struggles.

Jack is the youngest of our three sons and has special needs.

This link on the paws4people website contains a short history of Jack as well as a link if you are interested in donating to the cause. Paws4people has scheduled a service dog for Jack for sometime in late summer/early fall. The cost to raise these dogs is very high and anything you can give would be very much appreciated by Jack and all those who benefit from these incredible animals. The announcement also contains a short story written by our son Jake, who is a journalism major at UNC.

We just returned from our first visit to the prison in WV where these dogs are trained. It was an incredible weekend. For a description of Jack's experience with CAYLIE, please visit Kyria's blog. Kyria is the founder of paws4people.
